Pennsylvania Custody Statute Protects the Rights of Deployed Military Parents

This week, Governor Shapiro signed into law House Bill No. 414 that protects the rights of parents who are deployed in service to their country so that final changes cannot be made to custody arrangements due to the parent being deployed. This new law aims to put parents who are servicemembers on even footing in custody matters when the other parent is not a service member. You can read the full text of the law here.
