Philadelphia recently sent out notices to real estate owners addressing the assessments of their properties. Many owners saw significant jumps in market value, which will result in higher property taxes for tax year 2025.
For most property owners, the deadline for appealing the assessments is the first Monday in October which this year falls on October 7, 2024. A recent transfer of the property could change this due date.
